## Job Content

### Job overview

The Children’s Continuing Care Team at GWH provides direct clinical care and support to named children and young people with complex medical needs in the community.

Being part of the team may involve meeting a child's health needs in their own home at night to enable families to rest, or accompanying and caring for a child at school to enable education. The ideal candidate must be able to work professionally as a lone worker in a community setting following a period of competency based training to meet the child's health needs, and will be keen, enthusiastic, flexible and reliable and have good communication skills.

If you would like to be part of our friendly and motivated team who are keen to make a difference in the community, we would love to hear from you. We are willing to negotiate full time, part time or term time hours for the right applicant.

Please note: Part time or Term time hours would not meet the required salary threshold for sponsorship, and therefore would not be available.
