The successful post holders will be offered specialist clinical supervision and separate line management; this is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in developing their clinical skills and gaining experience of working in a specialist mental health service. ## Person Specification ### Skills **Essential** - Ability to meet agreed / specified service targets - Ability to manage own caseload and time - Excellent IT skills - Has received training (either formal or through experience) and carried out risk assessments within scope of practice - Ability to use supervision to guide case management - Ability to build good rapport with children, young people and parents / carers ### Knowledge **Essential** - Knowledge of child psychology and development - Demonstrates an understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in Primary Care - Demonstrate an understanding of parenting and behaviour management interventions - Knowledge of child protection issues, safeguarding and other relevant legislation - Demonstrates a knowledge of the issues surrounding school and education and the impact it can have on mental health ### Experience **Essential** - Experience of working as a psychological wellbeing practitioner / graduate mental health worker in a primary care setting - Experience of routine outcome monitoring - Experience of working in the local community - Experience of multi-agency working ### Qualifications **Essential** - Successful completion of the NHSE (or equivalent) commissioned Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner course.
