Due to the retirement of our existing CNIO, Bradford Teaching Hospitals are looking for an experienced and inspiring registered nurse or midwife to join our Digital, Data and Technology team as Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO). This is an exciting leadership role for an individual who is passionate about improving patient care through digital innovation, clinical informatics and service transformation.

The CNIO will provide professional nursing leadership across the design, development and implementation of digital systems, ensuring they support safe, effective and high-quality care. Working closely with nursing, clinical and digital leaders, the postholder will champion the voice of nursing and midwifery in digital transformation, helping to embed technology that improves clinical practice, patient outcomes and staff experience.

This role is ideal for a senior nurse with strong clinical credibility, leadership skills and a keen interest in informatics, innovation and change management.

- understanding of national policy in relation to the national approaches to clinical quality, the Care Quality Commission activities and methodologies & the impact & expectation on front line services to deliver high quality safe care
