### Experience

**Essential**

- Significant experience as a Consultant within the NHS
- Substantial experience in a senior medical leadership role (e.g. Medical Director, Deputy Medical Director, Divisional Director or equivalent)

**Desirable**

- Experience of leading organisations through significant transformation and organisational change

### Education & Qualifications

**Essential**

- Medical graduate with full and unrestricted GMC registration
- Higher professional medical qualification

**Desirable**

- Management or leadership qualification
- Postgraduate qualification in medical education, clinical governance or management
