We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our growing Non-Invasive team with a speciality in Echocardiography. We are part of a dedicated Cardiac Centre, including a Cardiac Ward and state of the art Cardiac Catheter Lab with an excellent multi-disciplinary team. Diagnostic Cardiology is a small, friendly department and we are very proud of the quality of services we offer including; Trans-thoracic Echo, Stress Echos, Trans-Oesophageal Echo, Specialist Valve Clinics, Diagnostic Coronary Angiography, Pacemakers, CRT and Implantable Loop Recorders. We provide tailored training and support for trainees across a range of entry routes, including the Apprenticeship and STP programmes. We actively encourage staff progression and support staff to obtain / maintain professional accreditation for echo or pacing. Our Diagnostic Cardiology staff consists of a mix of cardiac physiologists, cardiographers, assistant technical officers and administrative support staff. It is essential that the applicant holds a BSE Accreditation or be working towards. ### Main duties of the job This is a fixed term 12 month contract It is essential that the applicant holds BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent, and in addition holds BSE Accreditation or be working towards.
