Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic/Low Secure Ward£43,014 - £46,314 dependant on experience plus £5,000 welcome bonusFull Time/37.5 Hours/Hours worked are over 7 days on a two week pattern with rotational days and nights worked in blocks.Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic has an opportunity for a Charge Nurse in Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing to join our team. Ayr Clinic, Ayr, is a low secure mental health service for males and females with a mental health diagnosis and/or personality disorder. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

### What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.The Charge Nurse provides senior nursing leadership within the ward team, working closely with the Ward Manager to ensure high standards of care.You will be required to participate in an on-call rota which is worked on a rota basis with the Ward Managers and Charge Nurses. ## Person Specification

### What you'll bring to the role

**Essential**

- Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council in Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing
- Minimum of 18 months post-registration experience within a clinical speciality
- Demonstrable expertise within a clinical speciality, with evidence of strong and visible positive leadership skills
