What You’ll Do

Lead the ward team in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse, ensuring safe and effective patient care.

Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care and support patients, families and carers through complex or sensitive situations.

Coordinate staffing, workload and resources to maintain safe service delivery.

Support staff development through supervision, teaching, mentorship and appraisal.

Drive quality improvement through clinical audit, research activity and best‑practice implementation.

Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure coordinated care.

About You

NMC‑registered nurse with substantial post‑registration experience.

Confident in delivering advanced clinical care and supporting others to do the same.

Strong communicator with the ability to lead, motivate and guide a team.

Skilled in managing challenging situations, prioritising workload and making autonomous decisions.

Committed to professional development, evidence‑based practice and high standards of patient care.
