An opportunity has arisen to join University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, Hotel Services team as a Catering Administrator role supporting the  Catering Department at an off-site location in Estover.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for customer service and engaging with external suppliers. The successful candidate would be responsible for placing orders, and processing invoices, and use of Microsoft word and excel including producing weekly/monthly reports. There will also be a requirement on occasions to produce

The role will be for 24 hours, Monday to Friday between the hours of 0900hrs to 1500hrs.

Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS at Risk staff throughout Devon who is able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.

### Main duties of the job

- Providing a friendly, efficient and courteous service is provided to both internal and external customers demonstrating high standards of customer service.
- Establish and maintain appropriate administrative systems to support recording of information in department
- Review and prioritise work within agreed parameters
- Use of Microsoft Office packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Regular communication and liaising with suppliers through e mail and phone calls.
- Placing orders & processing invoices
- Recording minutes of meetings
- Filing & photocopying
- Provide administrative service
- Produce reports as required by operational manager
- Any clerical or administrative duties that may be required
- Data input
- Record keeping
