### Job overview

We are currently looking to employ someone to join our busy catering team at Bronglais Hospital, to assist with the daily preparation and service of both patient and staff meals.

You will also be assisting the team in the daily cleaning tasks. There may also be an opportunity to work in the staff dining room.

The successful candidate will need to be hard working, and willing to work as part of a team.

Working patterns will be between the hours of 07:00 - 20:00. These shifts will include some weekend & bank holiday work.

### Main duties of the job

To provide Catering Services to all users of the department.

The candidate should be able to work as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues, staff and visitors alike.

You will need to work within the hospital's policies and procedures and uphold the values of the Health Board at all times.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience in working in hospitality or kitchen environment.

**Desirable**

- Experience in working in a large scale kitchen environment.
- Experience of dealing with the general public.

### Language Requirements

- Welsh Speaker (Level 1)

### Qualifications and Knowledge

**Essential**

- Literate and numerate
- Basic Health & Safety, COSHH, moving and handling (on the job training)
- Food Safety Level 2 or Equivalent

- Good level of general education
- NVQ 2
