We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our fantastic Catering Department. You will be enthusiastic and will relish being a part of this dynamic team, delivering a high quality service which puts our patients and customers first.

1 x 30 hour post, this role will involve serving food at ward level and carrying out duties within the catering department

You should have working knowledge of a busy food environment and ideally hold your Foundation food hygiene certificate, full training, and support will be given on induction,

The role will be working 30 hours which will involve working some weekends

You should be equipped with excellent customer service skills and preferably have experience within the catering industry . Completion of audit forms associated with food safety,  & procedures.

### Essential

**Essential**

- Experience of cleaning in a food environment or similar environment.
- Experience of working as part of a large team and the ability to work on one’s own initiative when required.

**Desirable**

- Previous experience of working in a hospitality environment

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Possess or willing to complete Foundation Food Hygiene Qualification.
- Possess or be willing to complete NVQ Level 2 Hospitality/Customer Care.
