### Job overview

The Catering department is currently looking to recruit one Catering Assistant, who would like to join a large team of individuals within the department, in providing an effective and efficient cleaning and catering service. The successful candidate will play an integral role within the team, in ensuring that the food is prepared, delivered and the department is cleaned to the highest standard.

### Main duties of the job

The contract is as follows: 15 hours (Evenings) consisting of 5 x 3 hour cleaning shifts on a Monday to Friday basis at Glangwili Hospital Catering Department.

There is also an opportunity to work extra hours to cover annual leave and sickness if needed in hospital catering department.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience in working in hospitality or kitchen environment

**Desirable**

- Experience of dealing with the general public
- Experience in working in a large scale kitchen environment

### Qualifications and Knowledge

**Essential**

- Literate and numerate
- Basic Health & Safety, COSHH, moving and handling (on the job training)
- Food safety level 2 or equivalent

**Desirable**

- Good level of general education
- NVQ 2
- Welcome Host
