We're looking for dedicated Catering Assistants to join our team at Sheffield Children's Hospital. You'll help deliver high-quality catering services to staff, visitors, and patients across our catering outlets. Current opportunity Permanent x 1 – 21 hours per week, working Mon- Thurs evenings 4pm - 8pm & Friday evening 3pm-8pm. ### Main duties of the job Reporting into the Catering Manager, you will: - Clean and store utensils, equipment, and retail area items - Present, and serve basic food and drink items (e.g., sandwiches and salads) - Safely dispose of food waste while observing food hygiene standards - Monitor and record temperature controls for food and drink storage - Replenish and document food and drink stock in retail and vending areas - Serve customers, including patients, families, colleagues, and visitors, while providing a welcoming and high-quality service - Operate the till, processing and handling payments ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities For more information on the main responsibilities for this post, please refer to the job description and person specification.
