At Dalton Court Care Home, we are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care that enables residents to live with dignity, comfort and purpose. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner (Days) to join our team and help support residents to enjoy the highest possible quality of life.

As a Care Practitioner, you will play an important role in residents' daily lives, providing practical support, companionship and encouragement while promoting independence and wellbeing. Working alongside a friendly and professional team, you will help create a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel valued, respected and cared for.

### Main duties of the job

As a Care Practitioner at our home, your role may involve:

- Completing required training to deliver excellent care
- Assisting residents with personal care and hygiene
- Providing emotional reassurance and companionship as needed
- Promoting a restful, safe environment, tailored to each resident's preferences and abilities
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care
- Collaborating with the care team to ensure our residents' needs are consistently met
- Promoting and supporting residents independence wherever possible

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final.
