NHS Highland is seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to lead the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care within, An Acarsaid our residential care home on the Isle of Skye. The successful candidate will act as the Registered Manager with the Care Inspectorate and hold overall responsibility for the safe, effective and efficient operation of the service. You will ensure that residents receive care that promotes dignity, respect, independence and wellbeing, in line with National Care Standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide visible leadership to the care home team, promoting a culture of compassion, dignity and continuous improvement. Ensure delivery of safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care for all residents Act as the Care Inspectorate Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards Oversee care planning, reviews and quality assurance processes. Manage staffing, recruitment, supervision and performance management. Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Manage budgets and resources, ensuring efficient and safe service delivery.
