We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity to join our enthusiastic and dedicated ECG team as a Cardiographer to support our non-invasive cardiology services.

We are looking for an individual to work cross site between our Cardiac Departments at Bournemouth and Poole. Ideally following the below working pattern:

- Monday and Tuesday - Bournemouth site
- Wednesday and Friday - Poole site

Interview date: Thursday 30th July

### Main duties of the job

The cardiographer role comprises of the accurate acquisition of electrocardiograms (ECGs) in an outpatient environment in addition to the preparation and running of ambulatory monitor clinics in the main outpatients department.

This is a predominantly patient-facing role and our ECG team often form the first point of contact for those patients entering our Cardiology service. We are extremely proud of our cardiac unit comprising of Cardiac Rhythm Management, coronary intervention, Echocardiography services as well as a full range of Non-Invasive diagnostic services.

We have a strong team ethic and pride ourselves in putting the patient at the centre of our care. We are therefore passionate about attracting individuals to this post who will be able to support our values and maintain the high standards of care provided by our team.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a healthcare environment, be passionate about improving patient care and will have an interest in Cardiology. Previous experience in performing ECGs and fitting ambulatory monitors is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.  You will join our existing ECG team comprising of 9 Cardiographers who support our wider cardiac physiology team.
