Secondment to this post will also be considered. You will have a strong background and genuine passion in cardiology/cardiac rehabilitation and knowledgeable in the management of patients following myocardial infarction (MI), coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), heart valve surgery, and heart failure. The role involves delivery and development of cardiac rehabilitation programmes, supporting patients and their carers through education, secondary prevention, self management, and structured exercise programmes. You will oversee referral and caseload management, represent the service at multidisciplinary meetings, and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure safe, effective, and sustainable service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly experienced cardiac rehabilitation specialist looking to further develop their knowledge and skills within a supportive cardiology team environment.
