As a Cardiac Physiologist at our Cambridge Hospital, you’ll hold either a BTEC ONC and HNC in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement, or a BSc in Clinical Science /Physiology (or equivalent). You’re currently registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Physiologist. Ideally, you’re also accredited with SCST and BSE. You’re flexible, motivated and a team player.

As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will:

- Perform, interpret and report adult Transthoracic Echocardiograms
- Ensure high standards of patient care, safety and dignity at all times.
- Accurate record keeping using PACS, RIS
- Support consultants and the wider cardiology team in the diagnosis and management of their patients.
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies, professional standards and quality assurance requirements.
- Participate in service improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.

We are looking for an individual who:

- Holds a degree in Clinical Physiology, Healthcare Science (Cardiac Science) or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Is registered with an appropriate professional body such as RCCP, AHCS or equivalent
- Has accreditation with BSE
- Has experience in cardiac investigations and diagnostic testing.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient-focused, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Shows commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of current cardiac physiology standards and best practice.
