### Job overview

To provide a high‑quality, comprehensive and professional administrative service in support of the Cardiac Information Team. The post holder will support the day‑to‑day running of the team by undertaking a range of administrative duties, including first‑line support for information systems, data entry and validation, and managing incoming requests via the call logging system.

- Smooth running of the service.
- Act as first‑line support for Cardiac Information systems, responding to and logging queries, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Manage and monitor the call logging system, ensuring requests are accurately recorded, prioritised and progressed in a timely manner.
- Undertake routine and ad‑hoc data entry, validation and maintenance of cardiac audit and clinical datasets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support the team with the preparation, submission and maintenance of audit data in line with national and local requirements.
- Assist with general office administration tasks, including managing shared inboxes, filing, document management and maintaining records.
- Liaise with clinical staff, internal teams and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support the team in meeting deadlines and service objectives by prioritising workload effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and information governance standards at all times, in line with Trust policies.
