This established specialist role offers the chance to make a real difference to patients’ lives while delivering high-quality, holistic and patient-centred care. Investment in our inpatient areas is creating a contemporary environment that supports excellent patient care, staff wellbeing and the future growth of specialist cardiology services across East Sussex.

### Main duties of the job

The role includes assessing cardiovascular risk and patients with valve disorders; whilst working collaboratively with the physiology team within the valve clinic. Working closely with Consultant Cardiologists and a wide range of multidisciplinary professionals, including specialist teams at tertiary ACHD centres, the post holder will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of seamless, high-quality patient-centred care.

A key aspect of the role is empowering patients to understand and manage their condition through education and support. This includes providing advice on congenital heart disease, cardiac risk factor modification, healthy lifestyle choices and long-term health management.
