There will also be patient databases to keep updated and opportunity to perform research in these areas. St Thomas’ has seven colorectal surgeons providing tertiary level care in a variety of benign and colorectal cancer conditions. The colorectal unit is a tertiary referral unit for the South East of England for colorectal cancer and advanced colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor.
