The Cancer Audit Assistant provides administrative and data support to the cancer audit and outcomes team, helping to ensure accurate, timely, and complete cancer data is collected, recorded, and submitted in line with national audit and reporting requirements.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide dedicated data entry and audit support for the ten national cancer audits coordinated by the National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN). This includes interpreting clinical and non-clinical information and accurately inputting data into Cancer Data Set forms from multiple sources, such as diagnoses, TNM classification, tumour morphology and ICD coding.

The role requires working to strict deadlines to ensure the timely annual submissions and support to MDT Co-ordinators with data collection. You will maintain accurate audit records, monitoring progress against timelines and carry out regular checks, to ensure data quality and completeness.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
