Then we have the right role for you. York's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are seeking to recruit a part time (30 hours) CAMHS Clinician to work within our Neuro pathway. The team is in a position to be able to help staff develop the knowledge and experience within CAMHS and offer additional training as appropriate to role but are keen to recruit an individual who has experience in this area and can bring that experience to the team. Please note, this post require candidates to have a professional registration as a Child, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist. Nursing candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, due to the part time hours the starting salary for this role would not meet the required salary threshold for this post to be eligible for sponsorship under the Health and Care (Skilled Worker) visa. Health and Care Worker visa ### Main duties of the job The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Neuro team, which will include observations, specialist assessments, and report writing, in order to deliver a clinically compliant assessment pathway for those children and young people up to the age of 18 years. There will also be opportunity to deliver support to young people who are neurodivergent and require intervention around their Mental Health. If you enjoy working within an experienced and inclusive team who are passionate about supporting with children and young people and their families/carers, and enjoy a challenge and have a flexible approach, then we would like to hear from you. You will need to be confident in your own clinical decision-making skills. You will work with a range of professionals from a variety of different agencies including social care, acute care and a range of community and voluntary sector partners.
