The successful candidate will provide a professional and comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the Community CAMHS Clinical Team.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills who is able to demonstrate the ability to work as a Team player and also to work independently.   The post holder will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to deal with queries in a sensitive and empathetic manner due to the nature of the service.

The successful candidate will play an important role within the service to provide efficient administration support and be expected to deliver a comprehensive Administration service to support service delivery.

### Skills

**Essential**

- Excellent communication skills both written, verbal & telephone
- Ability to react to unpredictable issues, re-prioritising own workload if necessary

**Desirable**

- Competent in the use of Microsoft office

### EXPERIENCE

**Essential**

- Experience of working in an acute hospital/GP practice or Call Centre/Customer Focussed environment
- Experience dealing with the general public

**Desirable**

- Previous Waiting List Management experience

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Good General Standard of Education (e.g. GSCE Maths and English A-C and above or equivalent.
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience. Required to undertake this qualification.

**Desirable**

- Understanding of basic Medical Terminology

### PERSONAL QUALITIES

**Essential**

- Confident when dealing with a range of people both internal and external to the organisation
- Able to work to tight deadlines
