Our Business Support Team provide an essential function supporting the delivery, performance, transformation, development and improvement of services, supporting delivery of the Trust’s strategic goals.

A Business Support Manager role has become available working primarily with our Specialist Mental Health teams, including CAMHS and Older People.  You will also work closely with other Business Support colleagues as well as the Trusts other support functions.

### Main duties of the job

Key elements of the role include working with care group leads to support on the delivery of services, working with BI colleagues to provide data and key analysis/insights for identified service areas, performance monitoring, supporting care group delivery plans, working with Business Partners, including finance and people,  to maximize the support offer to clinical services, working proactively to support or lead on agreed strategic programmes, and to support with service development, business cases, performance, reporting  and achieving milestone.

All of the above is done whilst working closely with front line operational teams

### Skills

**Essential**

- Ability to plan projects and define critical  path/dependencies over multiple years  and phases
- Ability to produce business cases, Gantt  charts, performance reports and  dashboards, narrative reports and  spreadsheets

**Desirable**

- Advanced practitioner in Microsoft  Excel and producing PowerPoint  presentations

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- High level project management  knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of NHS national policy and plans

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of working with multiple  stakeholders, including senior  management teams and clinicians, to  deliver change
- Experience of interpreting complex  information, distilling key messages and  themes and presenting a position and  options
- Record of delivering to organisation/  statutory deadlines

**Desirable**

- Related experience of working in a  NHS or social care environment
- Experience of working with  commissioners in NHS and local  authority organisations at a senior level

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Educated to masters level or equivalent  level of experience of working at a senior  level in specialist area e.g. business,  finance or equivalent demonstrable  experience
