We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Manager to join the leadership team within the Long Term and Specialist Services portfolio. This diverse portfolio covers Community Nursing and Specialist Services, offering a busy and varied environment.

You will play a key role in overseeing administration services and leading the Health and Social Care Coordinator teams across Ashford and Canterbury, ensuring effective workforce coordination, service delivery, and performance management. The role involves working closely with the Head of Service, Assistant Director and wider senior leadership team to support service development and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing competing priorities, and is motivated to improve services and outcomes.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and able to manage, influence and develop teams effectively.

You will have experience in managing workload independently while supporting organisational priorities, alongside a proven ability to lead service improvements and drive change. Previous project management experience is desirable, and knowledge of QSIR tools and methodologies would be advantageous.

Strong analytical capability is essential, including experience in extracting, manipulating and interpreting data. Advanced IT skills are required, with working knowledge of systems such as SQL, Rio, Datix and HealthRoster.

You will bring creativity to problem-solving and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation, collaboration and efficiency. This role suits someone who is professional, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality support within a complex healthcare environment.

## Person Specification

### Knowledge and skills

**Essential**

- You will need to have a customer focussed approach which is essential to; Provide patients, clients and their families with the best possible experience
- You will need to be able to be able to use IT systems and databases
- You will have excellent attention to details, accuracy and organisational skills. You will know when you are within your own limits and when to escalate

**Desirable**

- Having an awareness of developments within the NHS would be an advantage

### Qualifications, training and experience

**Essential**

- Level 6 qualification (e.g. Bachelor degree BA/BSc, NVQ level 6, ordinary degree without honours) Or you will be able to demonstrate the equivalent level of experience
- You’ll need to have recent experience of team working and versatility to take on a variety of tasks
- A full, valid UK driving licence or a full driving licence issued by an EU country
