The Secondary Care Northern Alliance Team is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and highly organised Business Support Administrator to join our team and provide comprehensive administrative and project support across a range of commissioning, contract management, performance and service improvement activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of services that help improve healthcare outcomes for patients and communities across North East and North Cumbria. Working closely with commissioning colleagues, senior managers, and a wide range of corporate and operational teams across NENC ICB, you will contribute to the successful delivery of key programmes, projects and workstreams.

### Main duties of the job

The role offers a varied workload and will involve coordinating meetings, preparing reports and presentations, maintaining action logs, work plans and project documentation, and providing high-quality business and administrative support to the wider team. You will help ensure that workstreams are effectively organised, monitored and delivered to agreed timescales.

We are seeking an individual who can manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be professional, adaptable and able to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

## Person Specification

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- RSA/NVQ level 3 or equivalent relevant experience
- Significant business support level experience and acquired knowledge of relevant process or procedures.
- Significant experience of providing project/business level support
- Demonstrable level of experience of Microsoft Office package including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and One Note.

**Desirable**

- Project based software packages.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

### Physical Skills

**Essential**

- Advanced keyboard skills
- Ability to Independently travel as required to meet the requirements of the role.

### Experience and Knowledge

**Desirable**

- Oracle procurement experience
- Microsoft Project
