Involved at the start of project lifecycles, Business Change are integral to the successful deployment of digital transformation projects - supporting activities  for the definition of project drivers (benefits), scope and high-level business and IT requirements.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support to the analysis, development and delivery of the business change activities required for the successful deployment of new clinical systems for the maternity and neonatal services at Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust.  Key responsibilities of this role include ensuring that all clinical pathways are mapped and new software configuration is planned and implemented accordingly. Also, the benefits of the projects are appropriately managed, delivered and monitored.

You must have previous business change analyst experience; ideally this will include working on NHS or other healthcare organisations' digital transformation projects.    Key duties include:

understanding, documenting and interpreting current and future workflow processes

benefits identification, management and delivery

stakeholder engagement and management

support to the activities necessary to support the Trust's compliance with national clinical risk management safety standards

capture, escalation and support to management of project risks and issues

system testing

development of training materials and delivery of face to fact training (where required)

This role may also include involvement in the development and implementation of system testing activities.  A level of support and resource will also be required from this post to ensure that localised training materials are produced and delivered.

In the longer term the experience and expertise gained undertaking this role will offer future opportunities for involvement in system management, developer and user support and project management.
