If you're ready to make a lasting impact through your specialist expertise, we'd love to hear from you ### Main duties of the job As a Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurse, you will: - Deliver expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management for patients with complex bladder and bowel conditions, including urinary catheter management. - Develop and implement personalised, evidence-based care plans that promote independence, self-management and improved patient outcomes. - Provide specialist clinical advice and support to patients, carers and healthcare professionals across community and primary care settings. - Act as a clinical leader and expert resource, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner organisations to deliver integrated, person-centred care. - Lead and contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audit, research and the implementation of evidence-based practice. - Support the development, review and implementation of clinical guidelines, policies and care pathways to enhance service delivery. - Supervise, mentor and educate registered and non-registered staff, promoting clinical excellence and continuous professional development. - Contribute to clinical governance activities, ensuring high standards of patient safety, quality and compliance with Trust and national standards. - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional practice in accordance with the NMC Code, Trust policies and relevant national guidance. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please refer to Job description and person specification for outline of skills, knowledge and experience required.
