Are you passionate about providing excellent patient care and making a difference to patients' hospital experience?

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our Facilities Team as a Ward Host/Hostess on a bank only basis. This role is vital in ensuring patients receive timely hydration, nutritional support, and assistance during evening mealtimes.

Working hours: 16:30 - 19:30

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

- Support the delivery of evening meals to patients.

- Ensure patients receive regular drinks and hydration support.

- Liaise with nursing and clinical teams to assist with patients' nutritional needs.

- Serve food and beverages in a safe, hygienic, and caring manner.

- Monitor food intake and report concerns to nursing staff.

- Maintain ward pantries in line with food hygiene standards.

- Collect and clear meal trays and replenish supplies.

- Assist in creating a positive patient experience through excellent customer care.

- A caring and compassionate approach.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently.

- Previous hospitality, catering, customer service, or healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
