## Job Content

Leonards Croft are looking to recruit Bank Support Workers to join the team.We are located in Stafford. We provide residential support for eight males and females who are autistic or have a learning disability, or both. The service is off a busy main road, around 15 minutes from the town centre.

### What you'll be doing

- Assist residents with daily living tasks (e.g., personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders)
- Promote independence and encourage decision-making skills
- Support residents in participating in community activities and social events

### What you'll bring to the role

**Essential**

- Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows. Experience working with individuals who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, or similar needs is essential. The role requires encouraging independence and supporting the development of life skills, alongside familiarity with health and safety practices in a care setting. Additionally, experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team is important, as is a basic knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality principles.
