## Job Content

Alexandra House is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team.Alexandra House is located in Gloucester. Our service offers residential support for nine males and females with a learning disability, who may also have a physical disability. We are off a main road, near to the town centre.

### What you'll be doing

- Provide personal care support with sensitivity to individual needs and preferences
- Support daily living skills to promote independence (e.g., dressing, grooming, meal preparation)
- Accompany and assist clients in community outings such as shopping, social events, and shows, ensuring safety and positive experiences
- Use de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour support strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly and respectfully
