## Job Content

Fern Lodge is looking to recruit a Bank Support Worker to join the team. Fern Lodge is located in the historic Roman city of Chester, in Cheshire. Our home is set in a suburban area of the city, off a main road, and offers residential and nursing support for 17 males and females with mental health needs.

### What you'll be doing

- Through own professional behaviour, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security and confidentiality standards.
- To undertake key working responsibility for individual service users, supporting the individual to plan goals and personal outcomes and ensure that these are comprehensively documented and reviewed. Innovation
- The role holder should have a flexible and innovative approach to their work and be able to facilitate and support service users in decision making, promoting choice and involvement at all times.
- The role holder should present the service in a positive light and should be proactive in making suggestions for how to improve the service.

### What you'll bring to the role

**Essential**

- Experience working within a mental health environment
- A caring and respectful approach to supporting others.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to upholding professional standards, policies, and procedures.
- Full UK driving license for minimum of 3 years (desirable, but not essential)
