### Main duties of the job

As a Bank Band 6 Specialist Nurse, you'll step into a rewarding role providing high-quality, trauma-informed care and support across our Community Mental Health Teams. You'll work with individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges, helping them achieve positive outcomes while contributing to the development of new ways of working.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting with or managing a caseload of individuals with complex mental health needs

- Assessing, managing, and reducing clinical risk

- Delivering evidence-based, person-centred interventions

- Working autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

- Prioritising workload effectively within a dynamic service environment

- Supporting service improvement and innovation

- Helping shape and develop the Mental Health Neighbourhood Model

## Person Specification

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- An understanding of relevant clinical practice/standards within identified clinical area
- Basic IT skills

### Experience

**Essential**

- Appropriate knowledge/experience of working in mental health/learning disability clinical practice areas
- Understanding of caseload management and care co-ordination responsibilities
- Experience working in a CMHT setting

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Part III or 13 of NMC live register
- Degree/diploma in adult, mental health or learning disability nursing

**Desirable**

- Years experience
- Direct experience working with patient group
