The Staff Bank is an ideal way of starting a career in the Trust, offering flexibility of working hours and the opportunity to gain experience in different areas. The Staff Bank will provide training to enable you to work across the Trust

Requirements:

- Essential to have inpatient experience of working in an acute hospital within the last 12 months as an NMC registrant. Applications will get reviewed and further information will be discussed during the interview. Bank paediatric, maternity or theatre roles are advertised separately, so please check NHS Jobs for any current vacancies.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Ideally the ability to work a minimum of 12-24 hours per month

What we offer:

- Period of paid supernumerary clinical time (amount dependant on areas of work and previous experience)
- Clinical skills support and enhanced skills sessions (where required)
- Flexibility in training and shifts
- Ability to work within and try different specialities

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer adaptation courses.

Please note this post is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or applicants requiring a Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

### Main duties of the job

To work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework and maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse.

To work in accordance with the principles set out by the NMC at all times and Trust Policies.

To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence and demonstrate behaviours that support and encourage an inclusive culture.

- RN&RNA: Nursing /Registered Nursing Associate in an acute hospital environment within the last 12 months as an NMC registrant
