Tayside Central Vaccination Service - Perth Bank – Registered Nurse/Midwife Vaccinator \[Salary Scale: £31,892 - £39,735 per annum\] There is an exciting opportunity to join the NHS Tayside’s Staff Bank as a registered vaccinator, to support the Central Vaccination Service this Autumn/Winter. As part of NHS Tayside’s Public Health Directorate, the Central Vaccination Service plays a key role in health protection and health promotion. In collaboration with other services and through a multidisciplinary approach, the Central Vaccination Service provides expert advice and delivery of all vaccines provided by the NHS. The team deliver several vaccination programmes to all ages across Tayside, including in community-based clinics, outreach & rural clinics, as well as in care homes and home visits. With our commitment to person centred care and tackling health inequalities, we have strong links with other community outreach teams and work in collaboration through our ongoing inclusivity work. As a Staff Nurse/Midwife Vaccinator, you will be supported through a comprehensive induction and training programme to develop your knowledge and skills in vaccination. You will work both independently and collaboratively within a busy clinic environment, delivering vaccinations as part of the wider team. There will also be opportunities to provide vaccinations through home visits, supporting citizens in the community.
