To provide support to students and perform Mentor role or attend Mentor and Assessing Course in line with NMC standards. Provide escort in the transfer of children to other health care providers as required. Provide telephone advice for parents requesting information & support. Personal To have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with children of all ages and stages of development. To organise own time and workload efficiently, on own initiative and as part of a team. To be a role model to all staff and support all members of the ward team. To accept responsibility for the provision of effective prevention and control within the Trust in liaison with the Trust’s Infection Control Team.
