Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre. Our theatre team cover a wide variety of specialties including Ortho, Bariatric, General, Gyane, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmics, Spinal.

### Main duties of the job

As a Neurophysiologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of neurophysiological tests and procedures, including EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.

- Your duties will include preparing patients for procedures, operating neurophysiological equipment, and analysing and interpreting test data.
- You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, adhere to quality control protocols, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- You will collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive neurophysiological care, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the neurophysiology department.

### Job responsibilities

- HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist or equivalent
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- Extensive experience in neurophysiology, including advanced techniques
- Proficiency in using neurophysiological equipment and software
- Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
