## Job Content

Priory Hospital Dewsbury is looking to recruit a Bank Driver to join the team. This is a bank role of 0 hours per week.Based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disorders and increasing physical health needs. We also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health.Although Dewsbury is not a 24/7 acute hospital, we are well-placed to provide support to acute patients within our dementia services, for those who require an alternative setting to an acute psychiatric ward. Admissions can also take place due to other placement breakdowns (either from their home or other care environment), or step-downs from prison settings.

### What you'll be doing

- Drives patients, children, young people/adults to a variety of different activities, ensuring that the journey is completed in a safe and timely manner, using the most efficient route. Complies at all times with Priory Driving Policy.
- Drives staff and other visitors to/from the unit as required by the line manager. Collects and delivers consumables or assets for the unit.
- Ensures that the unit’s vehicles are cleaned regularly, and that any damage or faults are dealt with immediately. Also ensures that the vehicles are fuelled at all times.
