You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here. As a Cook, you will take responsibility for the planning, preparation, cooking, and service of nutritious, high-quality meals within the hospital. You will ensure all kitchen activities and operations are carried out in line with operational standards, food hygiene requirements, and statutory regulations. ## Person Specification

### What you'll bring to the role

**Essential**

- We are looking for a skilled and organised Cook with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) with an Intermediate Food Safety Certificate . The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen, preparing high-quality meals for large groups while working to deadlines and budget.
