Join the Bristol NHS Foundation Trust Temporary Staffing Bureau as a Bank Administrator and gain valuable experience working across a range of departments and services throughout the Trust.

As a Bank Administrator, you'll provide vital administrative support where it's needed most. Assignments may involve covering staff absences, supporting busy clinical and non-clinical teams, assisting with appointment bookings, managing records, or helping deliver short-term projects.

With a variety of assignments available, you'll have the opportunity to develop a broad range of administrative skills and experience within one of the UK's largest NHS organisations.

### Main duties of the job

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with administrative, clerical, or customer service experience who can provide professional support across a variety of Trust settings.

You will:

- Provide general administrative and clerical support to departments across the Trust.
- Use Trust systems to manage appointments, records, correspondence, and departmental communications.
- Respond to queries from patients, staff, and external partners in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Support teams with organising workloads, managing diaries, scanning documentation, and monitoring shared inboxes.
- Work flexibly across different services and locations as required.

We're looking for people who have:

- Availability to work between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
- Previous administration, clerical, or customer service experience.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
- A professional, reliable, and flexible approach.
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
