The expectations of the post will be demonstrated across the four pillars of consultant level practice: expert advanced clinical practice, strategic and enabling leadership, learning, developing and improving across the system, research and innovation. The role is pivotal to working collaboratively with the MDT team, in building capacity and expanding the nurse led services to further shape and deliver the strategic vision of a world class Breast Service for our local population. RFL Breast services delivers a wide range of diagnostic and treatment options across the patient pathway for benign and malignant breast conditions. The range of services includes breast screening, breast pain, family history and genetics and plastic reconstructive surgery. The service provides comprehensive treatment options for advanced and metastatic cancer patients and is committed to supporting research and evidence-based treatments in line with both local and national policies.
