We have an opportunity for a fixed 12-month post to cover maternity leave. This would be a great opportunity for someone who looking  to step up into a senior position to expand their experience, or for someone looking to specialise in acute stroke + neurology inpatients. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and flexible in their approach, and who is able to demonstrate excellent clinical leadership in the assessment and management of neurological patients. You will be joining a friendly, well-established integrated therapy team, working alongside experienced colleagues and supported by a Band 8a Clinical Specialist OT. The post will be based on the 24 bed Acute Stroke Unit, where you will be working alongside a supportive and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team. You must be able to demonstrate strong evidence-based clinical knowledge and skills within the specialty of neurology, with a specialist interest in stroke. Person-centred care and an approach which promotes self-management are at the centre of our philosophy. ### Main duties of the job Together with the Clinical Specialist OT, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the inpatient stroke service and neurology team .
