A requirement of the position is a BSC (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent with recent NHS experience ideally within an acute setting. The successful candidate will also be required to coordinate the general x-ray department, overseeing the workflow, liaising with other modalities ensuring sufficient staffing in all areas and managing it’s day to day running on a rotational basis. The department also provides a 24/7 service to our patients and participation in this is essential. This is a cross-site position, the radiology footprint comprising of a total of 13 x-ray rooms , 2 Interventional Radiology rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 3 dental x-ray rooms, 4 CT scanners, an EOS scanner, 16 U/S rooms and  3 nuclear medicine rooms with  5 Cardiac Catheter Labs and 3 MRIs All of this enables our staff to benefit from valuable experience and scope of practice in addition to helping us meet the demand on our service. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities To provide a high quality, efficient, effective, responsive, safe, evidence based, diagnostic service to the patients of St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. **Please see the attached supporting job description and person specification document, which contains more information about the role and requirements.
