Are you passionate about improving women's long-term health outcomes and delivering exceptional specialist care?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced midwife to lead our expanding Perineal and Pelvic Health Service supporting women affected by Obstetric Anal Sphincter Injury (OASI), childbirth-related perineal trauma, pelvic floor dysfunction, and pregnancy-related bladder and bowel symptoms.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest maternity services and play a pivotal role in shaping and developing specialist pelvic health care across the maternity pathway. Working autonomously and as part of a highly supportive multidisciplinary team you will provide expert clinical care, lead innovative service developments, influence practice and deliver education to healthcare professionals across maternity settings.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate clinician with excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills who is committed to improving pelvic health outcomes and delivering outstanding woman-centred care.

### Experience

**Essential**

- *Significant experience as a practising midwife with experience in all areas of Midwifery
- *Specialist knowledge of in perineal trauma pregnancy care and relevant clinical experience.
- *Participation in research or clinical audit
- *Knowledge of current midwifery practices.
- *Evidence of participating in service change and quality improvement.
- *Experience of leading staff.
- *Demonstrates knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
- *Evidence of on-going and current professional development.

**Desirable**

- *Endo-anal scanning experience
- *Uro-gynaecology experience

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- *Professional and clinical knowledge acquired through midwifery training to degree level or equivalent experience and successful completion of preceptorship, together with substantial post-registration experience in perineal care and further specialist study to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent knowledge and expertise gained through practice.
- *Teaching/mentor and assessor's qualification or relevant experience.
- *Demonstration of on-going professional development.

**Desirable**

- *Master's degree or working towards/willing to undertake study.
