You will accurately assess patients' clinical needs in a holistic manner using specialised knowledge and skills and a broad range of nutritional assessment skills, measurements and techniques. Success in this role will see you provide dietetic advice and support to patients and their careers, taking into account ethical, cultural, religious, socio-economic and educational needs. You will liaise and communicate effectively with other members of the multidisciplinary team regarding inpatients and outpatients, advising and negotiating with the team to ensure optimal dietetic care for all patients. You will develop and distribute appropriate evidence based dietary literature for gastroenterology patients and carers and participate in the implementation of service developments in dietetic gastroenterology and nutritional support services.
