About Our Unit & Department We deliver high-quality care to children with diverse medical, surgical, orthopaedic, diabetic, and oncological needs. Our facilities include:

Bumblebee ward: A 23-bedded general medical, surgical ward incorporating a Level 1 POSCU (Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Unit) and is a commissioned Level 1 HDU (High Dependency Unit).

- Day Care & Outpatients: A 6-bedded paediatric day care unit and a busy outpatient department.
- Specialist Services: Award-winning diabetes, respiratory, and allergy teams, alongside specialist nurse-led services in epilepsy and transition care.
- Integrated Care: Strong collaborative links with Paediatric A&E, our Level 2 Neonatal Unit, Paediatric Community Nursing, and the Child Development Centre.

- Mentorship in Practice, SSSA or other teaching qualification
- Experience of working in paediatric inpatient / ambulatory/ community setting
- Able to demonstrate leadership and management skills
- Good team building and people skills

**Desirable**

- Proven ability to keep abreast of developments in the Health Care sector
