Having gained further funding to expand the team, we are looking to recruit 2 Senior Mental Health Practitioners to join the leadership team. Our new team is launching in October 2026. Candidates will be working across a set number of education settings delivering evidence-based early interventions, and Whole Setting Approach initiatives (WSA). Candidates will work within a clinical team to ensure mild to moderate mental health and emotion wellbeing support is provided. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will offer clinical expertise and advice to staff, including undertaking assessments and interventions  for young people who may benefit from support from a more experienced clinician. You will also line manage junior clinical staff, supporting and developing the team to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people. A typical clinical day may involve  delivering assemblies and workshops to a primary and secondary schools and further education settings. You may then travel to health centers, homes or education settings to deliver some one-to-one or a group session of low intensity CBT intervention. You may then facilitate supervision, plan/create resources and help lead team meetings. Travel across the Birmingham and Solihull area is expected.
