The post holder will already be working as part of a community podiatry team which works across both Islington and Haringey. The post holder will have post registration NHS experience, and/or completed an additional post registration accredited clinical orientation programme or competency-based programme, enabling them to deliver high standards of clinical care working as an autonomous practitioner as required within both community and acute settings. The post holder will be expected to independently assess, diagnose, develop, and implement individual care programmes for patients with a wide variety of multifactorial clinical needs, providing specialist care and highly specialist advice for patients with diabetes, dermatological and biomechanical problems. The post holder will also be expected to plan and manage their own caseload of domiciliary patients, liaising with all parties of the multiprofessional team to ensure effective patient care. They will have line management responsibilities.
