Do you hold a mentorship qualification and have a child protection qualification or experience? Do you have leadership skills, and can you effectively contribute to team working in a busy and dynamic work environment? This is your opportunity to help shape the development of children's designated emergency care area within Emergency Department. You will have the ability to assess and commence high impact interventions supported by PGDs while awaiting assessment by paediatrician. You will be part of a team of paediatric nurses working in the Emergency Department, providing care being confident in the role of patient's advocate in order to maintain safe and compassionate care of children and families within ED. Competent and/or willing to undertake further relevant training in the management of paediatric minor illnesses and minor injuries. To effectively manage and develop the nursing team within the  Urgent and Emergency centre and provide professional and clinical leadership in the delivery of high quality, safe, cost effective care to children and families.
