### Job overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Rotational MSK Physiotherapist within The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Rotations include Lowe Limb, Upper Limb & Spinal, Hand Therapy and Orthopaedics.

This role is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week working across our various sites.

Please note that this vacancy may closed early depending on the amount of applications we receive.

### Main duties of the job

- To provide specialised assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and to provide expert advice, guidance and information to patients, health and social care professionals, carers and relatives, and other non-professionals
- To participate in the Band 6 rotational scheme which may involve working across the Trust, in a range of outpatient departments as well as orthopaedic wards.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

### Person Spec

**Essential**

- Degree or Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy
- Health Professional Council Registration
- Clinical experience in NHS or similar health service across a range of settings
- Evidence of CPD of expanded specialised skills.
- Understanding of professional standards of practice – national and local
- Understanding of clinical governance and implications for the service
- Evidence of post-graduate courses in relevant field

**Desirable**

- Membership of a professional network, National or Regional Network
- Member of the CSP
- Attendance at Clinical Educators Course
- Experience of supervision and education of less experienced staff, students or assistants
- Experience of running / participating in audit and projects
